The Department’s minimum standard of market clinical productivity is the 40th percentile. Any physician ≤40th percentile of market will forfeit their clinical productivity VC. At the 41st percentile and greater, physicians will earn 10 CARES points per percentile from the 25th to the 65th percentile.
The Accountability performance is measured as a percent of on-time complete monthly time study surveys. The expectation is 12 surveys per year. The individual will earn the same % of CARES points as the % on-time completion rate (out of the available 200 points).
The Department’s minimum standard of WAR activities is 50. Any physician with ≤50 WAR activities will forfeit their WAR Activity VC. At 51 WAR activities, physicians will earn 2 CARES points per WAR activity. (a maximum of 200 CARES points). Activities are capped at 25 per quarter.
The Department’s minimum standard is 21 vacation days submitted via a form request in Shift Admin. Any physician with < 21 WAR vacation days submitted via a form request in Shift Admin will forfeit their WAR Vacation VC. Any physician meeting the minimum standard for this metric will earn 200 CARES points.
The Department’s minimum standard of academic productivity is 60 aRVUs. Any physician ≤ 60 aRVUs will forfeit their academic productivity VC. At 61 aRVUs, physicians will earn 4 CARES points per aRVU to 100 aRVUs (a maximum of 400 points). Academic productivity requirements will be prorated to total FTE.
